FAQs
Where are you located?
I'm located in Elyson near 99 in Katy, TX.
I live in another State, can you ship to me?
Sadly, I'm not allowed to accept orders online to ship. Per Texas law, part of the purchase process needs to be done in person. So you can place the order online but you will need to pick up in person, or you can place the order in person, and then I can ship it.
Why are your prices so high? I can buy the same thing at the grocery store for less.
I only use real butter and high quality ingredients. So my prices are higher than chain stores. I can't compete price-wise against chain stores but my products taste doubly better than theirs.
Why are decorated cookies so expensive?
Decorated cookies require hours of sketching, researching, planning, making the dough, baking, then mixing the royal icing and a long process of creating the desired color for the icing. And all that is before even decorating the cookies, flooding and detailing. Then there's the cleanup, follow up, and packaging.
When you receive your box of decorated cookies, it's also filled with love from all these hours of preparation and joy to give them to you. ❤️
I'd like to buy cheesecake. Why don't you sell that?
Per the Texas Food Administration, all products sold by home-based cottage bakers must be shelf-stable so they can't be kept in the refrigerator. I follow Texas Cottage Food regulations and I have my Food Handler license. If you see another cottage baker selling cheesecake or items that have to be kept in the refrigerator, they aren't following Texas laws. I like being a law-abiding citizen and being kind.
